Coaching Staff
Head Coach Mark Allen will be assisted by lead coaches Dean Russell (Head Squash Pro at Boar's Head Sports Club) and Grant White (UVA Assistant Coach). Additional coaches will be employed as camp numbers grow.
Each camp is limited to a maximum of 39 campers. During technical sessions coaches work across two courts, supervizing six players, with the idea that the players drill and feed for each other (for more information see our PHILOSOPHY). The coach is in a position to provide guidance while also leading the players toward professional and self-sufficient training habits.
In addition to the professional coaches, several hitting partners are usually employed. These are typically elite-level players from the UVA squash team who mix in with match play, practices, and drills, setting a great example for the camp participants to follow.
